Music in Medicine celebrated its one-year birthday in April. What a year it has been! We have sprung from nothing to a functioning non-profit, serving the people of Citrus County. We are proud of our accomplishments. And thankful to all the people who made it possible.

• Thank you, Pete Langlois, of Nova Network, for developing a first-class website, and having the patience to guide us through the learning curve of managing a website.
• Thank you, Pilot Club of Crystal River, YMCA, Citrus County Libraries, Retired Educators’ Association, TOPS, Nature Coast Unitarian Universalists Fellowship, Rotary Club of Crystal River, and Paula Bateman and the Nature Coast Acoustic Jam for asking us to give presentations and raise awareness of our non-profit’s mission.

Sweet Success – Musicians are in Training

Thanks to efforts of so many, we have two musicians in training now. And we have more local musicians expressing an interest. Within a year, Citrus County will have three or four therapeutic musicians offering healing and comfort to those in need.
